Engineered to address residual magnetism risks in large power transformers and CTs after DC resistance testing, the XHXC110 is the ultimate solution for protecting critical equipment from inrush current impacts and ensuring seamless, safe commissioning.
Ferromagnetic hysteresis leaves residual magnetism in transformer cores after turns ratio, DC resistance, or similar tests. When energized, this residual magnetism causes half-core saturation, spawning harmful harmonics in excitation current. The result? Increased reactive power waste, relay protector malfunctions, and costly operational disruptions. Proactive demagnetization with the XHXC110 before commissioning is non-negotiable for reliable transformer operation.
The XHXC110 elevates our proven demagnetizer series with game-changing upgrades: automatic demagnetization mode (eliminating tedious manual repetition), a larger LCD display for comprehensive data insights, and simplified two-button operation (red = select/reset, green = confirm/start). Most impressively, demagnetization time is slashed from 30 minutes to under 4 minutes—dramatically boosting efficiency.
